Praise the Lord Saints,
Miracles, signs, and wonders are the best way to describe the month of October 2011 outreach at the Union Gospel Mission. God moved in an awesome and powerful way. You had to be there to appreciate fully the anointing that flowed within the chapel. Men and women from various ethnic backgrounds worshiped the one true God of the universe.
The Bible says, “make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise” (Ps 98:4 KJV). The Message Praise Band, lead by Michael & Debra Revell, sang praise in a dynamic way bringing joy and rejoicing throughout the entire building with lyrics they wrote themselves. The Lord miraculously moved through each anointed song preparing the hearts of the hearers to receive the living word of God.
Most of us know how to put on a front or cloth ourselves in garments of religion. Minister Brian Dodson preached a tremendous illustrative sermon on removing the filthy garments that we put on to cover our sins and be clothed in the garment of rigorousness — which is Jesus. Heb 12:1 (KJV) says, “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and sin which doth so easily beset us.” This message even provoked a demon to come on stage in attempt to distract, however, ushered off in the authority in the name of JESUS.
God performed miracles in the lives of those who came forth. Prayer warriors lead congregants to salvation also special prayers for deliverance from drug addiction, for family member who is in jail accused of murder and for restoration of families — just to name a few. Next month, Nov 18th will be no different, as the result will again yield people crying out for liberation. Daniel Clarke will be the main speaker with Alex Williams leading praise. Join us and allow God to use you to pray for those who need Jesus. Praise the Lord!
