It is always an honor to be apart of the Epic Bible College team that ministers at the Union Gospel Mission the third Friday of every month. This month Bubby Wallace led the team of thirteen volunteers who battled the weather to share Christ with the homeless at the mission. Guests and men in the program at the mission were blessed by receiving 130 study bibles that were donated. Iris Lopez and her worship team ushered us into the presence of the Holy Spirit. I will never cease to be amazed at how the words of songs like “Nothing But The Blood of Jesus” can move even the most hardened of the homeless to tears. After worship, all were blessed by the clean comedy of Dennis Gaxiola, who with humor and an intimate altar call brought sixteen people up for prayer, of those sixteen; seven were for salvation. The Bible tells us in Galatians 2:10, “continually remember the poor,” and as economic times are getting tougher, there will be more of the poor to remember. I encourage you to come join Epic at the mission and have your life touched along with those of the guests.

Sincerely,

Elaine Wallace

P.S. Come join us next month April 15 as we begin our 4th year when Pastor Michael Revell of New Covenant Fellowship Church with his praise team lead worship, Matthew Balling minister in song, and Dr. Ron Harden President of Epic Bible College delivers the Word of the Lord. You do not want to miss this EPIC event.
