Greetings saints,
Once again, Epic Bible College students enjoyed a great time of fellowship together with the men and women at the Union Gospel Mission. Celebrating our 41st month at the UGM, the night began with anointed spirit filled worship lead by Sofia Acero. Together with her musicians, they led us into the very presence of God that allowed the Holy Spirit to prepare minds and hearts for the receiving of the Word.
Jeffrey Pogue began by sharing a short testimony on how on his way that night God had given him confirmation that he was at the right place, at the right time. Using a seed he found on the side of the road as an illustration, Jeff referred to the miracle within the small seed, which had the potential of growing into something great. “We are all seeds; everyone has greatness within.” Some of us have had our growth stunted by outside influences such as substance abuse, child neglect, divorce, death in the families and many other things. Yet once we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we die to all the past drama in our lives and allow the miracle within us to begin growing.
Approximately sixteen men and women responded to the altar call as the Epic Bible College students /volunteers prayed the prayer of faith leading them to eternal life and forgiveness. Isn’t God good? Join us next month September 16th when Billy Lambeth leads praise and our own Epic graduate Steve Pepper bring forth the Word of God.
